For reasons known to him and his national security team, President Trump let Iran off the hook in April when he ordered U.S. military forces to cease and desist. Our forces had destoyed nearly the entire Iranian navy, most of their missile launchers, and decapitated Tehran’s leadership, all with Israeli assistance.
In the weeks since, Trump has given the Iranians every opportunity to make a lasting peace deal. And every time he has, Iran has responded with some chicken-poop move that proves time and again Trump probably should not have stopped pounding Iran until the country was a parking lot.
Forty-seven years of waging war against America and killing our people and troops would have come to an end. And frankly, that might be what’s coming next.
The Iranians reportedly downed a U.S. Army Apache helicopter overnight in the Strait of Hormuz. The pilots are okay and have been recovered, but Trump has had enough:
I have just been informed by our Great Military that last night the Iranians shot down one of our highly sophisticated Apache Helicopters while patrolling over the Strait of Hormuz. There were two pilots involved, both are safe and uninjured. Nevertheless, the United States must, of necessity, respond to this attack.
The led the Iranians to arrogantly – and stupidly – respond as well.
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi said that the “foreign forces” should exit the Strait of Hormuz.
“Iran prefers the language of diplomacy. However, as our Brave Warriors have shown to the world, we know how to speak other languages too,” he posted on social media.
Araghchi also said that the strait is “NOT international waters but shared between Iran and Oman.” He took a direct jab at the United States, saying the Strait is “thousands of miles away” from American soil.
Foreign forces in proximity to our territory are at constant risk on account of their own human errors, plain accidents, or potentially being caught in crossfire.
To reduce risk, best solution is for them to leave.

“Our Powerful Armed Forces are on constant alert for any violation of Iran’s airspace, land or waters. Foreign forces in proximity to our territory are at constant risk on account of their own human errors, plain accidents, or potentially being caught in crossfire,” he said.
“To reduce risk, the best solution is for foreign forces to exit, as soon as possible, an environment which will never be hospitable to a hostile presence,” he added.
It seems obvious the Iranians are too proud – or too ‘intellectually incapable’ – of learning lessons. Trump is about to teach them one, anyway.
